We all do it:

AJ has learned to poop on the “big boy” toilet. It took a long time to get to this stage.  I think we actually bribed him with one of his dinosaurs.  He also wipes and is getting very good at it. We still check on the “wipe part” for a plethora of reasons. Can someone please explain to me how a 41″ tall 3 year old can poop out a GIGANTIC foot long POOP?

I was just thinking……..As I was just taking a moment to myself I thought, wow, I have been so caught up with the whole overwhelming feeling of having triplets I haven’t really given myself a chance to really let it sink in.  I think it finally is, and what a wonderful feeling!!!  I cannot wait to finally get the chance to meet these three little ones and hold them in my arms!  Then  another thought  came to mind…..who am I going to hold first????  Oh my, I only have two arms!  Wow, just think about all the love that is going to fill this family.  What a great feeling!

I made it!  Past the first trimester that is.  I am in my 13th week of my pregnancy, and from what I remember and understand is that all those horrible first trimester symptoms will now go away!!  Wishful thinking….my only complant during the first 12 weeks was pure and utter exhaustion.  So you can imagine how much I was looking forward to the the 2nd trimester.  Pure bliss and energy right??  Wrong!!!  There is really no word in the vocabulary that can describe how tired and fatigued I feel.  They really need to come up with a whole list of words that describe and take on a pregnant woman of triplets mental, emotional and PHYSICAL state.   I am going to catch a quick nap before I have to pick up Avery from school.  I’m still crossing my fingers that I will wake up tomorrow and suddenly have that burst of energy I am longing for.  By the way, cheese is my pregnant craving.  Cheese glorious cheese!!!!!  I eat at least 1/2 pd a day.  Swiss is my first love, but open for suggestions……..

Over time you will come to understand AJ is truly fearless. Most of the time that’s a good thing. Sometimes it scares the hell out of us.
